Entry is only valid when entry fee is paid. Entry and entry fee must be provided to the organiser the latest on the 18th of April. Teams are to bring referees according to the rules. The name of the referee must be in your entry. Failure to bring a referee or not having the referee's name in your entry is charged with 100€ per weapon team entered.

Epee - A thrust weapon. Hits are valid all over the body and the simple idea is to hit first. It has a bigger bell guard to give the fencer more protection. Both fencers can get points if they hit simultaneously. There are hits or no hits. 
Foil - A thrust weapon. Hits are valid only on the trunk and the fencer has to prepare the thrust according to conventions to have it valid. The foil has a smaller bell guard. Only one fencer can get each hit. There are hits, non valid hits or no hits.
Sabre - A thrust and cut weapon. Hits are valid over the "belt". The fencer has to prepare the thrust according to conventions. The sabre has a guard covering the whole hand. Only one fencer can be awarded a hit. There are hits, non valid hits or no hits.

Team competition.All teams consist of 3-5 persons. 3 fencers are active in the team. The 3 active fencers total age must be minimumt 150 years for men and 140 years for ladies, at the date for the actual competition. The teams ranking depends of the result from last championship. Less than 6 teams - all teams meet each other. More than 5 teams: Pools of 3 or 4 teams where all teams meet each other. The two best teams in every pool will go to direct elimination. All places 1 - 16 will be fenced for.
